This paper contributes to debates on the use of cultural events regenerate urban areas. Cultural geographers have identified influence such in informing belonging, whilst being cautious towards politics associated with claims diversity and inclusion. Yet, what seldom features geographic accounts are ways influence, influenced by, inclusions exclusions beyond their temporal spatial confines, including how territorial processes flow across both online offline spaces.
